Open mobile website from PC

Hello, This post will show hot to open a mobile site from your PC. For example if you want to open http://m.rediff.com or http://irctc.co.in/mobile from PC, you can use this technique.

Step 1: Download and install Firefox if you don't have it.
Step 2: In Firefox, Go to Tools->Add-ons. In this tab, click on 'Get Add-ons' and search for 'Modify Headers' and Install it.

Step 3: Restart Firefox and go to 'Add-ons' as in step 2. Now click extensions to see the installed add-ons. You will find 'Modify Headers' and 3 buttons - 'Options,'Disable' and 'Remove'.
Step 4: Click on 'Options' and this will open the options window. In the 'Options' window,Click the 'Start' button.

Step 5: Select 'Add' from the 'Select Action' drop-down. In the second text box, type 'User-Agent' and in the third text box, paste 'Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.2; U; Series60/3.1 NokiaE51-1/100.34.20; Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 ) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413' and click on 'Add' button. Now you are all set, try opening a website, it will redirect to the mobile version. eg. http://rediff.com will be redirected to http://m.rediff.com.

Troubleshooting: If it does not redirect to the mobile site. Go to options of the Add-On and verify it is 'Enabled' and 'Start'ed.
